Q. What is Bongiovi audio experience?

Q. How long should I charge the headphones for after its initial 24 hours?
A. The headphones take generally take 4-6 hours to fully charge depending on your charge rate. 

Q. What is the “B” Button? And what does it do?
A. The “B” button toggles the Bongiovi experience on and off. When the “B” is illuminated blue, you are experiencing the full Bongiovi experience. When the light is off the audio provides you with what a normal pair of headphones would sound like.

Q. My red indicator light won’t turn off.
A. The red light indicates if the headphones are charging or charged. Once the headphones are completely charged, the red light will turn off. It may take up to 24 hours on the headphones initial charge to charge completely.   

Q. I have connected my 3.5mm audio source according to the instructions provided but I am not hearing any sound.
A. The headphones work in passive and powered mode. If you do not hear any audio, rotate the headphones volume rocker up till you hear audio. Please also check the volume adjuster on your audio source.

Q. I am not hearing any sound while using my vehicles entertainment system.
A1. Ensure your vehicles entertainment systems IR transmitters are ON.
A2. Ensure you are within line of sight of the IR transmitter.
A3. Ensure the headphones are powered ON
A4. Ensure you have selected the proper IR channel (A or B)

Q. How do I start a repair or warranty request?
A. Refer to the warranty section below.

Q. These headphones are too loud and my ears are ringing! What should I do?
A. You might have your volume set too high, try adjusting the volume rocker to reduce the volume. Bongiovi Headphones offer a far higher quality of sound than most people expect from headphones, and you might not always realize that you are listening too loud.

Q. Will I still be able to hear my music if I am traveling on a noisy bus, train or plane?
A. Yes, that is the best reason to use our noise-isolation headphones. Keep in mind though; you must turn the headphones ON. By turning on your Bongiovi headphones, you’ll easily be able to tune out screaming children, brake sounds, tire squeals, and engine roars.

Q. What audio sources will my Bongiovi headphones plug into?
A. Your Bongiovi headphone have a standard 3.5mm cable, this is a standard jack size. If you require a ½ inch jack or airplane adapter, check your headphone case.

Q. Are the Batteries in my Bongiovi headphones replaceable?
A. No, your Bongiovi headphones have a rechargable battery inside. To charge your Bongiovi headphones, connect the included USB cable inside your kit.

Warranty Coverage

AVG is responsible for any defects in manufacturing, materials or workmanship appearing within applicable warranty periods set forth below and during such warranty periods shall reimburse GM as follows:  Defects shall be covered from date of first retail sale for three years or thirty-six thousand (36,000) miles, whichever occurs first, Proof of purchase date will be required before refund/exchange, Full kit contents (cords, case) need to be returned for full refund/exchange, All parts to be returned to AVG Toronto for inspection and determination of valid warranty claim, After inspection, if the part is determined not to be a valid warranty claim, it will be shipped back to the location you purchased the product at your expense, AVG has the option to either (a) repair the product with new or refurbished parts, (b) replace it with a new or refurbished equivalent value product, or (c) refund your purchase price, the decision to repair, replace or refund will be made by AVG

 

Warranty Limit

The Program warranty does not cover defects caused by the following: Improper or unreasonable use or maintenance, Failure to follow operating instructions, Abuse, misuse or accident, Excess moisture, Insects, Unauthorized alteration or modification of original condition, Damages caused by inadequate packing or shipping procedures, Loss of, damages to or corruption of stored data, Normal wear and tear, Product that requires modification or adaptation to enable it to operate in any country other than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications, Products purchased from unauthorized dealers.

Other Conditions:

THE PROVISIONS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. AVG’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE ACTUAL PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT. Warranty Process

1.  Visit avgautomotivegroup.com/products/gm-headphones to answer Frequently Asked Questions and See Quick Owners Guide. If problem still occurs, proceed to product warranty section.

2.  Return product to the location that you purchased the product.

3.  If you are not able to return the product to the location that you purchased the product, call Toll Free 866-443-4437 then dial 1 or Email GMproductinfo@avg-oeam.com.

4.  AVG will respond to warranty claims or questions within 24hrs.  AVG working hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm (EST), Monday thru Friday.

5.  If your product fits our warranty criteria, AVG will issue an RMA number and FedEx call tag.

6.  Once the returned product is reviewed by our Quality Assurance Department and the claim is verified, a replacement product will be sent to a (ADI or Dealer) close to you.

7.  After inspection, if the part is determined not to be a valid warranty claim, it will be shipped back to the location you purchased the product at your expense.
